The Sweet & Fruity Selection 4 pack includes botanicals specially selected to enhance your gin. Whether you’re having a classic ‘London’ gin and tonic or one of many brands and flavours available, this selection gives you the option for multiple tasting enhancements.

To enhance your classic gin and tonic, the best option is to incorporate two or three pieces of Orange or Lemon Peel, while for a more stronger tasting gin and tonic add a few pieces of Bitter Orange Peel. If you’re looking for sweeter flavours, you will need to add a “special touch” with Liquorice Root pieces.  The possibilities to enhance your gin are deliciously endless! Orange Peel (Coarse Cut)
Oranges come from an evergreen tree, reputedly native to Southeastern Asia or Indo-China; the trees grow to a height of 6-15 metres. The leaves are elliptical to oval leaves in shape, alternate, dark glossy green in colour and 4-10cm in length. The 5-petalled flowers grow singly or in clustered racemes, they are white in colour, thick and waxy with yellow stamens. The fruits are spherical and are green when unripe, ripening to orange, the skin is tightly dimpled, waxy and 7-12cm in diameter. Particle Size: 6mm. (18g).

Lemon Peel (Coarse cut)
Description: Lemons are harvested from small evergreen trees that are native to India and are now cultivated throughout the Mediterranean and most sub-tropical climates around the world. The trees can grow to 3-7 metres in height. The leaves are alternate, ovate-elliptical in shape, reddish when young, become dark-green in colour on the upper surface and light-green on the underside and 6-12cm in length. The 5-petaled flowers have a light fragrance; the flowers can grow in clusters or solitary and form in the leaf axils, they are white in colour with yellow stamens and a purplish underside. The fruits are oval with an apex protuberance 7-12cm in length the outer surface is bright yellow, tightly dimpled and waxy. (18g).

Liquorice Root Cut
Description: Our natural Liquorice Root is tasty and aromatic and is delicious when added to savoury and sweet dishes. They have a sweet but slightly salty flavour and a very pungent aroma. It is quite similar to aniseed and fennel in taste. Liquorice is a woody, herbaceous perennial herb native to Southern Europe and Asia which grows to a height of up to 2 metres. The leaves are with alternate, oddly, pinnate leaves, 7–15cm in length, comprised of 9–17 leaflets, deep green in colour when mature and bright green tinged with red when young. The inflorescences form panicles of individual flowers 0.8–1.2 cm in length and can be either creamy white, mauve, dark purple to pale whitish blue in colour. (15g).
